Mission & Values
Art History School seeks to inspire and educate everyone about art and artists with our passionate and informative art videos. We aim to tell the life stories of great artists in an entertaining fashion, without jargon and pretention.
Art History School
Paul Priestley was born in Yorkshire sometime last century and taught art for a number of years. He left art teaching early to set up his own interactive art events in schools. There he re-enacted the lives of great artists and ran practical art workshops in the style of those artists.
The success of these interactive art events, plus the demand from a wider audience, led to the birth of Art History School. Now he concentrates on producing art history videos and how to draw and paint videos on his Drawing YouTube Channel.
